Classes

This four week class will give a you good start on learning how to draw the human figure. The class is taught Meg, and will be held 7pm-9pm on Thursday evenings. REGISTER HERE. $20 off when you register for all four classes at once.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR: 

Hey there! My name is Megan Schoonover And I am a designer and Painter here in Denver. I got my degree in Graphic Design and Painting at SCAD in Savannah,Georgia. I have been drawing/ painting the figure for 8 years now, and I am still learning and developing my skills in any way that I can. The human body is my favorite subject to draw so I hope to share some of that passion and knowledge with you!  -Meg

In this beginners course you will be introduced to the aesthetic and technical techniques of digital photography. Topics include Camera settings and operation, memory cards, file formats, exposure, white balance, composition, lighting, creativity, image editing software and output. The course requires students to bring their own DSLR digital camera, laptop, Memory Card Reader, and USB. (Point and shoot cameras are okay if that’s all you have, however some of your learning may be limited due to having to share instructor’s camera.)


We do have a photo printer. Bringing your photo paper is optional.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR:

Hello! My name is Kat Mills. I am born Deaf. I am bilingual in Spoken English and American Sign Language. I am a Rochester Institute of Technology graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Media. I have been photographing since 8 years ago. My favorite theme of photography is music. It's so much fun capturing different bands making music and spread positive vibes. I'd love to share my photography knowledge with you!
